Best Playgrounds near Lake Michigan
There are some great playgrounds in Chicago and there are some great beaches. This of course raises the obvious question: are there any beaches with great playgrounds? The answer to this question is a resounding: yes!
Here are some Chicago Parks that have both a beach and a playground.
Playgrounds Near Lake Michigan
There are other Chicago Park playgrounds that are close to the lake and/or have lake views but aren't close to a beach. This is particularly true in Lincoln Park and Burnham Park. So these are the playgrounds that are near Lake Michigan but aren't adjacent to a beach.
