Great Trees
The seal of the city of Chicago bears the Latin Phrase "Urbs in Horto" which means "City in the Garden." One of my favorite things - and one of the most important playground features to me personally - is the shade of a large tree. Here are some Chicago Parks with great and wonderful trees near the playgrounds. This isn't a comprehensive or exhaustive list - just a celebration of trees.
