Beehive Park - Playground ParkThe small Beehive Park is a neighborhood park that features a small play structure and small water feature. The play structure is small but well-equipped and features a few slides, a variation of monkey bars, and a few other climbing/traversing structures. There are also two swings (toddler and molded bucket seat with harness) in the small play area. The play area is fully enclosed and the play surface is wood chips. There are a few benches and a drinking fountain in the play area as well as a small, open-sided pavilion providing some shade in an otherwise very sunny and exposed site. There is a small and simple water feature with a single pole mister. All in all, this is a respectable neighborhood park.

Boswell Park - Playground ParkTiny Boswell Park sits on a quiet side street and features two small play structures. The smaller structure is designed for younger children and the larger structure is designed for older children and features a variety of slides and traversing elements. There are only toddler swings at the site - not standard belt seat swings - and a few other standalone elements. The play area is mostly enclosed and the play surfaces are wood chips. The park is bright and sunny and there are benches and a drinking fountain near the entrance.

Flying Squirrel Park - Playground ParkThe playground at Flying Squirrel Park contains a moderate sized play structure from the manufacturer Gametime that was installed in 2013. The play structure is somewhat accessible by ramp and features a few slides and climbing elements with a set of other elements placed nearby. There is also a standard set of Chicago Park District swings. The play area fenced from the street but not fully enclosed. The play surface is wood chips and there is a small grassy field just south of the playground. There are a few benches and some large trees for seating and shade.

Huckleberry Park - Playground ParkThis small park is packed with great playground equipment! There are three main play structures in this park: a sprawling traditional play structure with a firetruck theme on one side, a somewhat taller structure with a corkscrew slide, and an interesting rocketship climbing element. Additionally, there are a few standalone elements as well as a set of swings in this packed play space. Half of the park is wood chips and half is soft rubber and large trees and neighboring buildings provide bits of shade throughout the day. The play area is fenced from the street but not fully enclosed and there are a few benches. All in all, great playground with interesting equipment; highly recommend.

Moccasin Ranch Park - Playground Park"Moccasin Ranch Park" is named for a collection of stories titled "Moccasin Ranch" written by Hamlin Garland in 1909 when he lived at 6427 S Greenwood just a few blocks from this park. Curious name aside, this park is a nice neighborhood pocket park with a large play structure and some swings. The structure includes a few slides and various climbing elements. There are three swings - a toddler swing, belt seat swing, and adaptive swing. The play area is fenced from the street but not fully enclosed. There are benches and a drinking fountain in this bright and sunny site.

Prairie Wolf Park - Playground ParkPrairie Wolf Park is a nice neighborhood pocket park with a playground and water feature. The playground is somewhat non-traditional; the structure consists of a few slides connected by climbing and traversing elements and not bridges or platforms like other sites. The water feature is a small 'four sprayer' with jets from the ground. The surface is wood chips and playground gets some shade from the large trees on the site. The play area is fenced from the street but not fully enclosed There is a shade structure and drinking fountain near the entrance.

Till-Mobley Park - PlaygroundThe playground at Till-Mobley Park features a large play structure with several slides, climbing elements, and overhead elements. There is also a spinning sphere and the standard set of Park District swings (toddler, adaptive, and black belt). The play area, covered in wood chips, is not fully enclosed but it is fenced from the streets. There are a few benches in the area for seating and a drinking fountain near the basketball court.
